Well I haven’t listened to any Metric newer than Grow Up and Blow Away, [which is actually unreleased] probably because I didn’t catch their latest album in 2005 Live It Up. Whoops, all well. I was browsing The Tripwire as I do quite often - you should too - and watched this video. Love the video, not so sure about the song. It’s just to short for me, I want more. The video is beautiful in its own dark destructive empty way, which is the point I’m sure. In case you haven’t already figured out, Metric falls into the same category of chick lead singer rock bands like Rilo Kiley and their spinoffs as well as all the chick lead singer rock bands that blew up in 2006. All good stuff by these women.
