This is an amazing video complilation of the Cold War Kids and what they’ve been up to the past two years. Here’s some more on the video from Nathan in Cold War Kids.
This film was compiled by our friend Tim Cahill and watching it now is amazing to see all the traveling that we’ve done and all the people we’ve met. Let me narrate some personal highlights included in this feature.
There’s the junior high Battle of the Bands, Jonnie’s Birthday in New York when we were too poor to buy him a drink, BART rides, Lollapalooza, playing in the restaurant of our Oslo hotel for European TV, our beloved Detroit Bar, Gypsy fourth of July at Sam’s, boat rides at Rose’s, recording ‘Robbers & Cowards” with Kevin, Brett dropping his bed out the Bayou porch, and lots more footage from our five trips round the country and short jaunts to Europe.
We put this film together to introduce ourselves to you, perhaps for the first time, and give you a glimpse of what we’ve been doing for the last two years; also to say thanks to those who have been with us since the beginning.

Thank you TripWire for showing me and us all this video. I have been a fan of the Editors for quite some time and can’t get enough of them.
This is “Bullets” performed at Cornerstone - great video.

I like The Rapture and I also like roller skating. I havn’t gone in like 10 years. Remember bladers? I had a sick set of blades. More on The Rapture later.
Or how about this, you tell me about the Rapture. Some people love to hate them, others just love them. Me? I already said I like them, but in reality - only in moderation.
Yep, it’s Saosin, and yep I’m going to the AFI / Saosin show tonight in Long Beach.
Whatchya want?!
Thanks to the Tripwire earlier the week, I thought I’d pass along some Walter Meego goodness. First is the video with Ninja’s. Pretty much any video with Ninja’s is worth a watch.

Hey why not! No more just “preview” of the video, now you get the real “When You Were Young” video by The Killers. Is it just me, or is there like ALOT of buzz about their second album? Sams Town out October 3, I’m looking forward to it, I think.
Lately I’ve fallen really behind in my emails and missing stuff that I should be sharing. One of those things being that the Silversun Pickups has put out a new video and is going on tour starting in late September and going all the way through October. You can check out the tour on their Myspace, and watch the video for “Well Thought Out Twinkles” above. I’ve always been a fan of black and white films/video. Not that greyscale crap, but extreme black, and extreme white. Lots of contrast. I think it works great for this video.

If you havn’t seen this yet, its pretty much everywhere that is everywhere. It’s hilarious, that’s why. Watch and see. I only have really one thing to say.
Child Arsonist
yeah.
Under The Influence Of Giants “Mamas Room.”
I had a few other things planned to post, but finding a video for a hot new band took precedence. Especially when it is as rad as this one. All the hot chicks wins it for me right next to the kinda 70’s vibe but futuristic, but uhhh i dunno. The song is catchy as hell; I find myself humming it thoughout the day.
Want more UTIOG? How about my original post or an exclusive interview all right here on MusicGlob. It seems like its a video week!

I just watched “Here It Goes Again” by Ok Go over on RockInsider and I couldn’t help but post here. Thanks JAX! This video is utterly amazing and rediculous. Ok Go keeps “one-upping” themselves in the area of choreography. You have to watch their video for “A Million Ways” if you have not already. Also, I loved their latest album “Oh No” which you can read about here.

This video poped up earlier this week and it is wicked awesome. There is so many influences of movies that they threw together to make this video. To name the ones I can think of, Bruce Lee, old westerns, Blade Runner (maybe?), Star Wars (the holograms) and a couple other old sci-fi movies that I can’t remember the names of. Leave a comment if you know…
This song is one of the singles from the new album which has been talked about alot here, Black Holes and Revelations. There is 21 comments of pretty good points made on the style of the album. If you don’t make it through all that, at least enjoy the video.

This video I believe came out in the last weeks or so, but I was just able to give it a good watch. A while ago I was looking forward to an awesome album and well, it is an awesome album. I was overly addicted to it, then it fell by the wayside and now it’s time to bring back The Sounds.
This video kinda trips me out the way they played with the chronilogical order of everything that happens. One awesome thing, DJ Steve Aoki aka “Kid Millionaire.” shows up in the video. He is by far one of the best djs I know of, and Tuesday nights at Cinespace are awesome because of him. Plus the million other gigs he does in LA to NY. Anyways, we all love The Sounds and this is video goodness.
Watch video HERE.
