First ask your self this question - Do you have the patience to finish this project. Do you have enough experience with sewing and cutting so you don't make a mess of the tailoring process. Many people end up with unfinished slip covers because they simply lack the time or initiative to complete a process well-begun. They might have run into roadblocks and don't want to take the effort to try to resolve the problems.
If you are a person who isn't concerned about purchasing a wingback recliner that is brand new, you might want to try shopping at the local thrift stores and second-hand shops. You will have a 50/50 chance of finding something that is what you wanted. It never hurts to go look. When you go to one of these stores, make sure that you try all the functions that the chair provides to be certain that the chair actually works. A thrift store cannot offer any type of warranties and all sales are final. So, to be on the safe side, look everything over twice before you make a purchase.
