Ok WTF has happened to with indie music. Growing up since the age of 15 I always thought indie meant “independant” or in otherwords could not be classified. Now it is percieved as “vintage clothes” “shaggy hair” “A member of my band has a beard” “I have a synth in my band” “We have a girl in our band” “Echo Park is where all the muscians are” . LAME basically another trend is forming just like what happened with emo, punk, ska, grunge, before that cock rock.

BEAUTIFULLY PUT. Seems these days like Indie as a genre means you have to be more artistic and above everyone else and create a “really great artsy sound”. F that. Thank Eagles of Death Metal for breathing some friggin’ life back into scene. . .

What I get from this article is that a small chinese penis somehow developed arms and a brain and spit out this nonsense. Have you ever listened to a note? Are you even in a band? It seems like you don’t know music and you dont make money at all. Get a new job.
