Ok WTF has happened to with indie music. Growing up since the age of 15 I always thought indie meant “independant” or in otherwords could not be classified. Now it is percieved as “vintage clothes” “shaggy hair” “A member of my band has a beard” “I have a synth in my band” “We have a girl in our band” “Echo Park is where all the muscians are” .
