They come in a variety of designs and colors suitable for any home and can be easily be matched up to any preexisting furniture. They are also great space savers with models that allow for the ability to store items out of the way with a lift off or hinged top.
Decide if the chair is just for show or functional. In most cases these chairs may just be purchased to fill in an open space in the room, but you will end up using it at some point. Functionality is exceptionally important, it doesn't have a lavishly comfortable, but it does need get used as and when needed.
