Thanks to Stereogum[cover art also] I went over and read the MTV News Preview of The Killers Sams Town. I really don’t know what to say after reading that story. The album sounds super insane intense awesome. (odd grammar?!) Either way, we have months to wait for the album to come out (October 3), hopefully their will be more streams or something available in the coming days.

From the arty photography to the massive strings, the scruffy beards to the stuffy subject matter, Sam’s Town is most certainly the Killers’ bid for artistic legitimacy. And remember: Subtlety has never been their strong suit.

Artistic legitimacy, I agree. - but what about that cover art? A big horn, a busted ass trailer, and a sassy looking hot chick? Leaves much to the imagination.
