Sorry for the lack of updates everybody. I decided to go on a mini vacation that has turned into a nice mess. A couple hours after I get into San Diego I decide to go get some Wendys. On my way the whole left side of my car was wrecked. It was completely slow motion as I listened to the crunching of my new car. (Well a year and a couple months old) This was the second accident that I’ve had in the car – both not my fault. I seem to have rad luck at times.
All well. I’ve been trying to relax a bit yet decided to work a alot instead. Therefore I’ve had very little time spent taking care of my own things, instead clients. In light of all these things and more I have decided to take the weekend off. See ya Monday!

The Burning was really good. I will definitely be looking to buy it and add to my collection. I watched it twice for the show, but thanks to my Internet provider I didn’t get to make it on the episode. Heartless was horrible….I turned it off halfway in. Don’t waste time watching it!!!

Some interesting thoughts in this column. In a previous career, I worked as a senior editor at a large metropolitan daily. I can tell you that the money made from subscribers (in those days, more than 15 years ago) covered about 10% of the cost of producing the paper. Advertising paid the bills. I don’t know what the formula is now perhaps different but it’s surprised me that newspapers haven’t REDUCED the cost to consumers in order to maintain circulation. But there is also the environmental cost. I know that 15 years ago many readers objected to the “waste” of newsprint every day and I assume that feeling has only increased.
