I’ve long been a fan of Minus the Bear and was pleased to see that the Tripwire had a new song off their next album “Planet Of Ice” to be released the end of August (21st). They are also embarking on a giant tour starting today until the end of May.
For complete show list, head to their myspace.
I’ll most likely heading out to the Cinco De Mayo show at the ExPlex, come and join.

i feel like this songs lacks, and it’s like mtb is slowing down. i mean come on, don’t you remember ‘absinthe party at the fly honey warehouse’? just cause dudes get older doesn’t mean they should rock less.

Dr. L ‘Ling rocks harder than most MTB songs, you would know that if you were a real MTB fan and went to their show and heard them play this song. All the new songs sound awesome and can’t waiit till the new album comes! The new stuff is a lot more progressive and remind’s me a lot of King Crimson. Keep up the great work MTB!

Honestly, how are they not rocking as hard. If anything, with their new synthesizer/keyboardist they’re rocking even harder than before. Their sound is similiar, but heavier and flows better. I can’t see how this doesn’t show how after all their albums, they haven’t progressed even more.

I feel the slowing down too. I completley agree with first comment. Listening to Absinthe Party at the Fly Honey Warehouse and then this…. two very different kinds of music. I hear no hard rocking… There definitely is something lacking…
