Awesome time last Thursday at The Echo for Hell YA! This month Foreign Born headlined and played along with Cold War Kids and In Waves. All awesome sets packed inside the little echo. The crowd favorite seemed to be Cold War kids, it was absolutely PACKED on the floor! I hadn’t listened all that much to any of the bands that played, things have to change. Cold War Kids have a unique style that reminded me alot of The Arcade Fire who I saw last year at a super packed Troubadour show. They incorporated a wine bottle and don’t forget a cymbal on top of a crate to bang on.

Ariel Rechtshaid is the bassist for Foreign Born played as fill in bassist for a We Are Scientists show I went to in December. I talked to him that night and realized how talented he was when he told me he just learned their songs earlier that day. [From what I can remember clearly he said that… ] I saw that night that Foreign Born are a talented band and must be listened to. I suggest you pick up some music over at RockInsider.
