Here is my review of last nights festivities. I have seen Division Day and Peter Walker live before and you can see pics and read my reviews if you search for them – Division Day and Peter Walker. I took mostly pics of Birdmonster and Briertone, so read on for photos and some words. Yet I will say this as I have before: Division Day, you guys are awesome everytime. They played one new song and I was stoked on it.
This was the first time I was able to see Birdmonster live and wow. So much fun. They went on at 11 pm right after Division Day. I can say this, Birdmonster is full of energy. They are all fun on stage and Peters vocals came out great regardless of Spacelands notorious habit of having bad sound. A few points – tamborine and maraca action. I forget which song, but out of nowhere Kevin and Seb from Division day show up with tamborines and Kevin throughs a maraca at me. I did what I could, but I was more occupied trying to take pictures and making my feet dance. Kevin and Seb were up on stage rocking with their tour mates. Overall so much fun, they are really a band to see live – check out their tour coming up.
Briertone is simply amazing. Every time I listen, and now that I have seen them live I think, just wow. They went on after Birdmonster at about midnight so most of everybody left, yet they still played so good. After their set chatting with JAX and the band I found out the drummer Cory had only been playing for 4 weeks. He learned everything in a month, and played his first live show. I’m just in awe. Turns out this show was their first show all together after a lineup change and whatnot, yet even through all that they played amazing.
At the end of the night and today I realized how much fun it all was. Especially catching JAX in some tamborine action. She agrees that it was tons of fun – read her review.

Nice post. I study something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It’ll all the time be stimulating to learn content from different writers and follow a little something from their store. Hi would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with? I’m looking to start my own blog in the near future but I’m having a hard time choosing between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique. P.S Sorry for getting off-topic but I had to ask!

I have been fortunate to see you at many Celtic Woman concerts in the past 4 years. Looking forward to seeing you again in May 2011. I was fortunate enough to have my picture taken w/ you in Nashville, TN. in 2009. We would love the opportunity to meet you again someday. Your music is the best…. First off I want to say great blog! I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing. I have had a hard time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out. I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Thank you!
