Some of you may have heard of this or maybe even already use it. Either way I thought I would bring it to your attention. Last.fm is basically, well a big music reccomendation / information / social networking site. There are actually alot of features to this free service, I’ll just throw down a few:

  • Creating your own music profile through installing a plugin on you computer so Last.fm detects what you are listening to
  • Because it knows what you are listening to, it can give you reccomendations… thus finding new music!
  • Then all the rest of the find friends and listen to radio and whole bunch of other stuff

I’ve been using for a bit now, and the iTunes plugin installed easily and quick on my Mac… then after listening a couple days I was able to login and see some reccomendations for some new music. I say give it a try, I mean it’s free and fun!
