Chicago, Illinois indie folk, Track A Tiger. I find myself listening and being completly indulged in whatever I’m doing. This time it was reading this article on wired. A few moments ago, it was perfect non distracting background music. Then of course listen while not doing something so you can enjoy more. Track a Tiger started back in 2003 and worked on tracks for an album for the next two years. Here is there present and future:
The sound is a little heavier and atmospheric with some extended jams. Maybe Richard and Linda Thompson and the Sea and Cake having drinks in the living room while Low and Sonic Youth make dinner in the kitchen. Fleetwood Mac is out getting more ice. [source]

[…] Way back in early 2006 I wrote about these guys and just yesterday they released a little taste of their new album. No label yet - yet they say they are going to send them off to some labels. Take a listen - I’m really into “All These Accidents” right now. […]

I am becoming more and more addicted to this band. I began edging towards some of the more dismissive reviews, putting it into what I call “valium inspired” music. But they have stool the ultimate test - the ever changing favorites test. So often you get a new CD, have a favorite, then finish with the CD. A good band/album will have you drifting from song to song, obsessed with one after the other. That is the case for me and Woke up Early the Day I Died.
Heres hoping they tour to the UK soon!

I can’t be bothered with anything lately. Such is life. Basically nothing seems worth thinking about. I’ve just been staying at home not getting anything done. I haven’t been up to anything today, but oh well. I haven’t gotten much done lately.
