The Televangelist + The Architect is a three piece from Cambridge, MA who are truly unique. Very artistic, precise and real. Maybe it’d because two of the members are Phd students at MIT. Beautiful lyrics paired with keyboards as well as guitar and drums. This band makes me think of two bands in particular – At the Drive In and The Arcade Fire. You may ask why? – they are different kinds of music. I say that because these bands push the norm and seemingly themselves. To me they just care about the music and the next piece they can create.
