From Providence, Rhode Island; The Brother Kite. One of the many good bands playing at SXSW this year. Their sounds isn’t really anything new to me, but most of what I’ve heard is soft with heavy guitar that creates their own style. Really nice to listen to at work… From what I’ve read they are getting close to finishing their full length album which I bet will be good for them. On a side note, I really like bands that use the photobooth style photos for their press media.
