I’ve been reading more and more recently about the Mezzanine Owls and how everybody loves them. It’s all true. The Mezzanine Owls are an LA band that finished up recording their debut album Slingshot Echos which I think will be set for release later this year. You could call it shoegaze, some pop, but really just always worth listening. Reminds me a bit of another LA band, Silversun Pickups. and too many other things. I first heard of them via The TripWire who has some great words about the album and the band.

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with a few pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is excellent blog. A great read. I will definitely be back.
